Which valve fits your pipework?
The rail is the same whichever you pick — the valve is the part that meets your pipes. Match it to how they come into the room.
| Valve | Choose it when | Price | Product page |
|---|---|---|---|
Straight inlineFloor pipes
|
Pipes rise out of the floor directly under the rail inlets, and the valve carries straight on up into them. | £14.99 | View the straight inline valve |
AngledWall pipes
|
Pipes leave the wall horizontally. The valve takes the 90° turn upward into the rail for you. | £14.99 | View the angled valve |
CornerWall pipes
|
Also for wall pipes, but tucked in tighter — the body sits close to the wall and stays out of the way. | £19.99 | View the corner valve |
A TRV belongs on a radiator, not a towel rail. Throttling the flow leaves the rail running cool, and a cool rail leaves towels damp and smelling. Read why

Great Product + Wrong Advice = £144 Extra Costs
The towel rail itself looks great but it isn't working yet because I paid an electrician to install it for me but he couldn't complete the install because I hadn't ordered a thermostat and element. Ultimately that was my error but as im not a plumber or electrician I emailed CompanyBlue before placing the order telling them what I was going to buy and how I intended to use it and as I have no experience in this area could they let me know if what I was order high was everything a professional electrician would need to successfully install the electric towel rail to the electricity supply in one go. I had a very quick response telling me I had ordered everything needed for a full install. When the electrician came to install it he couldn't complete it so it was working as I had no element or thermostat. As a result of that incorrect advice I've had to spend more money ordering the parts(£69) and it's going to cost me a further £120 + VAT to get the electrician back to finish the job. So that one piece of incorrect expert advice has cost me over £200, it's delayed the job by nearly 2 weeks and it's just very disappointing. I only asked for advice because I have no knowledge or experience in this area so rather than make a costly error who better to ask than the company themselves who I hoped would be able to give me good advice which they promote on their site. Unfortunately for me I wasted my time because after putting in the extra time and effort to get it right first time, I was let down by the advice given. If I knew what I was doing I would not need to ask for advice, but I don't. My expectation was that they would be able to advise me as to whether I had ordered the right parts to fully install the rail? I explained it was being powered by electricity and not added to any central heating system in the house. The rail was good , delivery was fast, even the missing part came very quickly. I cannot fault the product or the delivery or the price or the range I had to choose from, the only complaint I have is not being given the right advice which has cost me an extra £144 to get this heater installed. I will end up paying double the installation cost I budgeted for and that cost will be greater than the cost of the rail. I went out of my way to ask the right Question before ordering to avoid me getting this wrong as a novice and instead the answer to my question was wrong and so I still ended up getting it wrong. I just wish whoever answered by question took the extra time to answer it as I took to ask it, it wouId have saved me £144 and would've been a 5 star review.
